OHKL 2026 Is Back — Call for Challenges Now Open!

We are excited to announce that Ocean Hackathon Kuala Lumpur (OHKL) 2026 is returning for its 4th edition, continuing its mission to foster innovation for ocean sustainability.

The initiative is supported by the French Embassy in Malaysia, highlighting a strong commitment to international collaboration in addressing marine challenges.

Submit Your Ocean Challenge by 30 May 2026

We invite researchers, organizations, startups, NGOs, and individuals passionate about ocean preservation to submit real-world marine challenges. Selected challenges will be tackled by multidisciplinary teams during the 48-hour hackathon.

Key Dates:

• Challenge Submission Deadline: 30 May 2026

• Team Registration Opens: September 2026

• Hackathon Weekend: 16–18 October 2026

• International Grand Finale in Brest, France: 10 December 2025
