Ocean Hackathon Kuala Lumpur 2026 returns for its 4th edition, an initiative supported from the French Embassy in Malaysia. The call for ocean-related challenges is now open until 15 June 2026.

Do you have an ocean-related challenge that deserves innovative solutions?
The submission deadline for Ocean Hackathon® 2026 Call for Challenges has been extended to 15 June 2026.
Ocean Hackathon brings together students, researchers, developers, engineers, designers, entrepreneurs, and domain experts to collaboratively develop solutions for real-world ocean and maritime challenges during a 48-hour innovation marathon.
We are looking for challenges related to areas such as:
🔹 Marine conservation and biodiversity
🔹 Fisheries and aquaculture
🔹 Coastal resilience and climate adaptation
🔹 Ocean data and digital technologies
🔹 Maritime industries and blue economy
🔹 Sustainable ocean development
By submitting a challenge, you will have the opportunity to engage with multidisciplinary teams who can explore innovative approaches, prototypes, and new perspectives for your project or problem statement.
