Ocean Hackathon Kuala Lumpur 2025 Is Back — Call for Challenges Now Open!
We are excited to announce that Ocean Hackathon Kuala Lumpur (OHKL) 2025 is returning for its 9th edition, continuing its mission to foster innovation for ocean sustainability.
This year's event is proudly coordinated by a consortium of three esteemed Malaysian academic institutions:
Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU)
Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)
Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT)
The initiative is supported by the French Embassy in Malaysia, highlighting a strong commitment to international collaboration in addressing marine challenges.
Submit Your Ocean Challenge by 15 May 2025
We invite researchers, organizations, startups, NGOs, and individuals passionate about ocean preservation to submit real-world marine challenges. Selected challenges will be tackled by multidisciplinary teams during the 48-hour hackathon.
